To be honest, I don't bake. My wife does. All I did was install it for her. She loves it I think. My food is never burned, so I like it too. My mom doesn't complain about the oven either. I don't know how it works, but its pretty easy for even me to turn on. It looks nice in our kitchen too.

i have to have matching appliances and was deciding between bosch, whirlpool and samsung. absolutely love our samsung kitchen! the oven is attractive and extremely functional. haven't used the steam cook or flex duo yet, but looking forward to trying them out. only complaint is that i can't keep it connected in smart things unless the oven is in use. worked great for thanksgiving!

The Best Oven Ever

Recently I had this oven installed and it has already been the best oven I have ever used. The touch screen is easy to use yet powerful. I can control the oven from anywhere using the Smart Things app, which is a huge bonus for me as I live in a casita and the oven is in the main house. I can open the app, start the oven and get notified when it is at temperature, saving me time. The Smart Divider effectively splits the upper oven into 2 giving us 3 ovens! With fans in both browning becomes an art and let me tell you, this thing pumps out perfectly cooked pizza rolls in about 9 minutes! The built-in water tray adds a level of functionality I wasn't aware existed, being great for proofing dough. I am totally satisfied with this dual oven and cannot recommend it enough.

I love using my Samsung oven! I do not use any of the fancy settings, but the oven does every single thing I have wanted it to do and more. I don't use the WiFi or steam but I might try it later. It was pretty intimidating at first all of the features but now I am kind of used to it. I like that it does heat up in a reasonable amount of time, and my food is always fully cooked at the right times and temperatures. Nothing has burned anytime I used it so I know everything is in perfect order. I really love that I can bake multiple dishes at once. It really is so useful when I am making food for events and get togethers. I love my new oven and I can't wait to try new recipes and use the rest of the features that I haven't gotten to yet.

Powerful Double oven

Let's me start saying this ( bragging ) , as soon as I got this beast the whole view of the kitchen changed. I usually don't cook much , but when I got this, the interest I got in baking, cooking started. And the installation was very smooth with all the precautions taken by the installation team with the COVID situation going on in the world. They were very much careful , away and followed all the protocols. Now let me start saying about the features that I love. - WiFi enabled. I can keep my oven ready before I arrive in the kitchen - split top oven. I can put multiple cooking items with different temperature in the same oven. - sleek design. The stainless steel changes the view of the way we look at our kitchen now - water reservoir. I can cook with humidity - inbuilt recipe. The screen shows the whole recipe. I can go on and on. But these are some of my best views on this oven. You cannot go wrong with this. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

There's a Beast in my Kitchen!

I will start by saying that this built-in double oven is an industrial beast (but in a good way). I was a little concerned that it may look too heavy or massive for our kitchen. However, once installed my concerns were lifted. Our previous builder grade stainless-steel double ovens looked nice, but not quite "professional". However, compared to the Samsung they were down right toyish. Everything about these ovens boldly proclaims its chiseled-chin heroic posture over your other appliances. In a small kitchen it may be too powerful. But, with the large open concept kitchen in our main living space accompanied with the equally bold styling of the Samsung 36" NA36N6555TS/AA I discovered a completely transformed kitchen. It now feels like I have arrived in the land of the professional home kitchen. The dials and display that crown the unit have a well-proportioned and elegant design. Don't be mistaken that these beefy knobs are like your grandmother's oven though. Instead they are for selecting the available modes as well as raising or lowering the temperature. There is no mistaking this for a low-tech appliance once you engage the responsive controls and display. The oven allows you to control the screen brightness, volume, WiFi and other essentials. "Wait, WiFi you say?" Well yes, this oven sports a WiFi radio that allows your oven to communicate with Smartthings-a feature I am enamored with. Once getting past the clunky pairing process I found my inner geek coming out to play with all the possible options. There is quite a lot of control offered by this function, all from your smartphone, however you must dial-in the oven knobs to the "Smart Control" mode to access all the features. You can always turn off the oven remotely regardless of the mode which could prove useful on chaotic days. Samsung should enable more control outside of the "Smart Connect" mode including control of the inner lights. It would also be cool to see them expand beyond the limited set of built-in recipes through the app. (Oh, and please let us have an option to keep the clock displayed for more than an hour…) This is an impressive oven by all standards and a showpiece in our living space. It dominates over our fleet of stainless-steel appliances but with refined class and intelligence. If you are looking for bold and hi-tech, this oven should be your first choice.

I was so unhappy with this unit since it was not functioning for many weeks on a number of occasions due to thermostat issues and it even locked the oven while self-cleaning and it couldnt be opened by the repair people without breaking my cabinet and door of the oven. I gave it back and got a GE oven.

these ovens take a long time to come up to full selected temperature. if i set it for 350 degrees, the pre-heat cycle will run for about 5 minutes and sound a chime indicating that pre-heating is finished; but the oven's internal temperature is still way below 350. i find i need to let it preheat for 10-15 minutes at 350 before it will brown cookies or other baked goods. i contacted samsung and they insist everything is correct with the oven. i also don't like the design of the gliding racks. they have a hump that makes it hard to slide baking pans onto the rack. finally, as many others have commented, the clock will only display for a few minutes before it goes blank and there is no setting to change this.

Smart and sleek

This oven is very high tech, and you can tell the best features are the ability to split the top oven into two. Since it's a double oven, it feels like we pretty much have 3 ovens now. The smart home features were a little difficult to set up, and took a couple tries but they worked out in the end. I do wish, they would be more open with those features and let google or even Apple also access them. The LED is easy to read and even though one of the big complaints before was that the LED wouldn't stay on all the time so it could give the time, I guess they must have fixed it, cause we can always look at the screen and see it lit. Overall, it's a good oven and it will serve us well when we have our (40-person) family over.

This double wall oven was a godsend! I love the steam function when baking bread, it comes out so moist! I was able to cook a whole Turkey and all the sides at once for the first time ever! The convection oven make things cook so evenly too! Love that I can use my phone to check on it. Looks amazing too! Wow! I love everything about this Samsung double wall oven. The features are very impressive! Three separate ovens in one space is fantastic. This is accomplished with a removable piece called the Flex Duo zone. I simply place the easily removable piece in and I can cook three different dishes that require three different temperatures at the same time. What a time saver! I cook large meals and I'm so pleased to be able to do it much more efficiently now. I can't wait for the holidays. I have also been able to use this oven to replace many other small appliances. Having features like steam and convection all in one place is phenomenal. I enjoy baking cakes and homemade bread. This oven is ideal for both of those tasks. The oven heats evenly and produces a beautiful product. The bread proof setting is absolutely one of my favorites. My dough has never looked so great. The oven is beautifully designed and also a great size. The interior is huge and a gorgeous dramatic blue color gives it such a pop. The electronic controls and digital features are fantastic and very easy use. The touch screen technology is very cutting edge. The WiFi is so useful and allows me to do other things while I'm cooking. I can remotely keep a check on things. Easy close oven doors are much appreciated. I also love the strong and stable sliding racks. Samsung really put a lot of thought into the design and loaded it up with some great features.

Awesome Oven

This oven is very nice. It has an upper and lower oven with large capacity to cook multiple things at once. I have not tried the smart divider to cook at different temps in the same oven, but I may soon. The wifi option connects to my phone and I get an alert when the oven heats up to the proper temperature. I have cooked chicken, pizza, potatoes and a roast in the oven so far. One recommendation is to start with the pan of what you are cooking on the bottom rack. My previous oven was the opposite (top rack). The first time I cooked a pizza I put it in the middle rack and the top was burnt and bottom wasn't done. Putting it on the bottom rack created a great pizza! Update: presets. I cooked some brocolli with the steam cook settings and it came out great. I have not used the duel convection yet but hope to soon . The gliding rack is amazing. It is basically a rack on rails. Slides in and out very easily and won't tip over. Used the goremt cook settings to cook a lasagna and it came out perfectly. I have the WIFI connected to my phone and it lets me know when the oven heats up to the correct temp and when the timer is done. Overall an amazing oven!

I'm in love with this Samsung double oven!  It looks absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen with the blue back-lit knobs and large digital screen display.  You can select shortcuts, look up complete recipes, and it preheats super fast.  There are so many added features that make this oven stand out.  The built in thermometer is very convenient and a great safety feature for cooking larger roasts and other meats to the right temperature.  The oven windows are extra wide making it very easy to see inside, which is especially helpful for baking.  The soft close doors are a nice extra and raise the overall professional look and feel of this oven.  It also has a water reservoir that opens up options for steam cooking.  The divider for the top oven allows me to cook several dishes all at once at different temperatures.  It really is like having another oven.  It offers so many unexpected extras that I've been inspired to broil, bake and steam more of our meals.

I received the NV51K7770DS 30" Flex Duo? Double Wall Oven in Stainless Steel as part of a promotion and overall I have really enjoyed it. The first thing I noticed is the design. WOW! I fell in love with the blue interior, the digital display, and the lit up knobs. I also noticed that this oven came with a lot of cool features that I have yet to fully play with. I was typically a pressure cooker chef, but seeing all of the cooking features of this oven has made this like a new grownup toy! I?ve cooked new casseroles and even found things to try the steam function on. Very cool! The oven comes with a lot of racks. Almost too many; I?ve struggled to try and figure out where to store all those racks. I do love the racks that slide out so that you don?t have to risk burning yourself getting food out. The wi-ifi connectivity is also a great feature! I like that I get alerted when cooking has started or been cancelled. I also enjoy that I can see the temperature status and food timer from my phone so I don?t have to keep running to the kitchen to check on the food. My one wish is that the ability to control the oven from your phone was always available. Instead it is only available when you use the smart control knob when you start cooking for it to work. I also really like the internal oven light. It is so bright; you can really see the dishes clearly in there. I was amazed by this. Really the only thing I have questioned on this oven is that when I went to cook a casserole at the time and heat the recipe required, it wasn?t cooked all the way when I pulled it out. I?m not sure if that is on the recipe or on the oven internal temperature not registering right. I?ll have to test this further. Either way, I?ve loved this oven so far and can?t wait to keep trying out all the features.

Happy with new double wall oven!

This is a great choice. We used this Samsung, double wall oven to replace a GE Profile double wall oven which the face plate warped and GE did not have replacement parts. Sad that a 11 year old oven needed replacing. This oven has so many options and cooks really nice. Beautiful browning too. The blue interior is so nice. The display options are high tech and pleasing. One thing is the clock does NOT stay on the display. It turns off within 5 minutes so if you are used to a clock being on display at all times, this is not available on this oven.

Sleek Meets Functional

The Samsung Flex Duo Double Wall Oven is the best appliance we own! Seeing that we just remodeled our kitchen, it was the perfect new addition. Not only is it an eye-catcher, but it has so many more innovative functions that I have yet to use and discover. As for it's internal engineering, I'm impressed with the built-in temperature probe socket, divider for twin cooking function, water reservoir for steam baking, and the two gliding racks. Externally, the stainless steel is high quality, and the touch screen is so high-tech and easy to read and navigate. I just wish that the screen wouldn't auto-shut, as it would be helpful to always have the time displayed for viewing. Other than that, nothing but positive feedback to give. My wife and two daughters do all the pastry baking, and this oven has a resounding six thumbs up from them. They say it bakes quickly and evenly, and with it's flex twin cooking mode it has allowed them to bake two different recipes set at two different temperatures at the same time using just the top oven. Such a great time and energy-saving function! As for me, I'm more the meat and potatos cook. So far I've baked chicken with the steam roast mode and salmon steaks using the healthy cook feature. Both came out perfectly cooked, no dry meat here! I do recommend that you take the time to read through the manual before you dive in and bake as there are great suggestions for cooking modes, settings and cook time to guide you through. With that said, there are so many more recipes that I cannot wait to try with the other untapped features. I'm also looking forward to experimenting with the built-in remote Wifi technology. Just a few weeks into ownership, and I'm really loving this Samsung oven!

Great Wall Oven

I received the Samsung double wall oven about a week ago and have used it about 10 times so far. I have cooked various things in it, including pizza, chicken, cookies, potatoes. The oven heats up noticeably quicker than my previous oven. the display is awesome, and the dials are intuitive. I have not used the smart divider yet to have different things cook at different temps in the same oven, but that seems like a great feature to have. One thing that would be nice is that the display stays on all the time. It goes black after a minute or so and comes back on when you touch the screen. I can control the oven from my mobile phone and have used that more than I thought. The food I cooked came out great. So far, I have really enjoyed the oven. There are far more features I have not tested yet but will update the testimonial when I do.

The Holy Grail of Double Ovens

This Samsung double oven has beyond exceeded my expectations. It is beautiful, multifunctional, and ultra high tech yet user friendly. At first I was intimidated with its wide range of features and thought there was no way I would get to learn how to use this oven without having to spend hours fumbling through the manual. Turns out that it was much easier than I thought it would be, and Samsung did a great job engineering this product for a not-so-tech-savvy person like me. The digital display is very easy to navigate, contains useful prompts for getting started, troubleshooting and even contacting the manufacturer for remote diagnostics and management...yes remote! You can also control your oven remotely while on the go using your phone or other smart device by using the SmartThings app which was so easy to install and connect to my oven. Such a great safety feature and practical for multitaskers who don't want to be tied down at home while they bake. So far my teenage kids and I have made cookies and brownies by the batches, even utilizing the twin cooking mode which allows the top oven to be divided into two compartments allowing different cooking times and temperatures. Seriously, what have they not thought of! Thus far, all the goodies we've made have been evenly baked to perfection and we cannot wait to dig our heals into more baking recipes aside from pastries. Having this double oven makes us want to dine in more...and that speaks volumes for a family like ours that loves to eat out. Thank you Samsung for manufacturing such an incredible appliance! We highly recommend it for anyone, from beginner cooks or barely home to cook individuals to the seasoned bakers.

Tons of features, Best oven I've ever owned

I've seen mixed reviews for this oven, but I've had it for about 8 months and it is amazing. It replaced a GE Profile in my oven in my house and there is no comparison. My mother in law has a Thermador at home and she said the Samsung double oven blows that away too. The flex duo option essentially turns it into 3 ovens that you can control individually (we end up leaving it in basically year round since everything cooks faster in the smaller cavity with convection in all of them. My only complaint was that I couldn't get there smart connectivity to work initially, but an update to the oven a few months ago fixed that. A few recommendations: 1. I'd love the screen to stay on for more than 1 hour at a time since its large and I can see it across the kitchen (all you have to do it touch it when it goes off). Maybe give an option to set the hours it stays on? 2. There are a lot of recipes built in, but I don't know where to find the ingredients! It'd be nice if I could send those to my phone or download new recipes to the oven. I haven't tried the steam cook feature yet, but maybe I'll update this if I get around to it.

I've been using this oven for a few months and the conclusion is that this is the one is to buy. First, the looks of the oven is awesome. Very high end feel and makes my kitchen look like a professional kitchen. Second, it works. It's so easy to use and it's intuitive. Yes. It is an oven but I feel like it knows what I want to bake or cook. Scary... Third, I like the sevice I get from Samsung. I had very good experience with Samsung when I called them from previous products and questions on how to use. So, all in all, I truly recommend oven to anyone.

Clock Doesn't Stay On No Matter Setting

Steamer malfunction!

1 year and 9 days old, notice steam cover melted. Get fixed, whole unit was broken. Samsung wouldn't cover cost. 1 year 9 days after purchase and have never used this feature. Very expensive to fix as Samsung sells the unit and tray completely separate so you have to buy both. disappointed.

Have had 1 year. App is rated 1* and has been for a year. Samsung engineering is not supporting this product - can't believe they are selling it. Also oven screen shuts off after 5m. Can't keep clock on. Looks broken. Samsung is actually coming out to buy it back. I'm getting my money back. I'd recommend others do the same.

Shuts off during cooking

The oven creates disasters because it turns itself off during cooking and is unresponsive. This happens repeatedly and all you can do Is wait until it turns itself back on. Utter failure.

Adventures with my Samsung Double Wall Oven

First off, I got to say that today I am very happy with the performance of my Samsung double wall oven. It didn't start that way. I received my first Samsung double wall oven and had it professionally installed only to find that it would not heat up. The controls worked - but the ovens would not heat up. When I called Samsung and explained what was going on - they quickly arranged for a replacement which arrived by the end of the week. The second one worked fine and was ready for use on Thanksgiving. I used to have a single wall oven with a microwave above it. The Samsung double wall oven fits in the combined spaces perfectly (the double wall oven requires a 51 inch vertical space). It took very minimum cabinetry work to clear out the space for the double oven. Also make sure you have the correct electrical connection: the oven requires 8 gauge wire and a 50 amp 240 volt dedicated breaker. It's a sleek, beautiful unit. I got the black stainless steel version and it looks great next to my black stainless steel Samsung 4 door counter depth refrigerator. I like how the blue leds "point" to the function selected as well as illuminate the dials. You also have several choices on the style of the clock displayed (both analog and digital). Regarding the clock, I read a reviewer who was disappointed that the clock did not remain displayed all the time, a comment my wife made to me as well - but I pointed out to her that all you have to do is swipe the touch screen and the clock is displayed. Its an energy saving technique. Maybe Samsung could have an option to leave it displayed all the time? But four convection fans! Wow! And large windows in the oven doors with leds built-in which do great showing off whats cooking. I used both ovens while preparing our Thanksgiving dinner and they worked well. I kept the turkey in the lower oven and used the upper oven to bake a variety of dishes, including a casserole, muffins and biscuits while the turkey was cooking. What a great convenience to have two ovens! I can't wait to have my next pizza party - and bake 4 pizzas at once! And I hope to be able to post an update sometime with my experiences using the steam bake - I love making fresh bread - and the steam bake sounds great. My only real criticism (other than obvious fault with the units that don't heat) - is that the touchscreen needs a "back" button - several times while I was setting up a bake - the unit would not let me go back a screen.

Nice Double Wall Oven With Advanced Features

This oven is nice! We had what we thought was a fairly decent double wall oven we replaced for this one and the differences are considerable. So far, we are glad we made the switch. Some of the features we are enjoying with this oven include the appliance being fairly quiet while in operation. Our last appliance had a loud exhaust fan that you could hear through the house while being operated. This oven is much quieter. The ability to connect to the Internet is great and allows us to monitor the appliance from another room. The LED display is clear, large, bright, and easy to read. The oven includes large turn knobs with lights that allow you to set the oven to the appropriate cooking type and are easy to understand. The significant stand out feature for us is the "Flex Duo" option. This feature allows you to divide the top oven into two separate cooking areas while in convection mode with separate variable temperatures in each area or zone basically providing you the ability to cook three different items at once (two in the top oven, and one in the bottom oven. The only negative for us regarding this oven, and it's minimal, is that the ability to leave the display screen with the clock on at all times does not seem to be available or we haven't figured that feature out yet. There is a way to leave the clock on during use and for an hour after use, but it eventually times out and the screen goes blank. If we find a way to leave the clock on all of the time, we would edit the overall review to 5 Stars. We have cooked a number of items so far and they have all turned out as we expected. My family would highly recommend this oven if you're looking for a nice and clean looking double wall oven with features abound.

Tech geek's perfect oven

Samsung has truly created an oven aimed at those who want technology mixed in with everyday appliances. My oven was installed before Thanksgiving, so I was excited to be able to use it to prepare the meal. I coked a 30# turkey in the bottom oven, which left room in the top flex oven for the side dishes. The flex option worked really well for the other dishes. it is like having three ovens. What a great concept for this type of meal. The ovens are both nice sized, and have the convenience of have a gliding rack. The gliding rack comes in handy when the pan is large and heavy. the racks have ball bearing glides the assist you when pulling out the rack.. The ovens also have several cooking modes to choose from, bake. broil, convection roast, convection bake, steam bake, steam roast, and Convection broil. It is nice to be able to use the different modes for different applications. The ovens are also very well sealed and insulated. You can turn the oven off at the end of the cooking cycle and the oven will retain the heat. The doors have large glass windows so you can easily check on what you are cooking, and the oven lights are bright and illuminate the entire oven cavity. If something runs over clean up is easy due to the oven finish. The oven also comes with a probe built in for cooking to a preset temperature. I have used the probe for cooking chicken breasts, I insert it in the largest breast and the come out perfect every time. The controls are both knobs and touch so you can adjust temperatures by touch or by the use of the temperature knob. The clock style can be changed to your preference, either digital or analog and the timer is super easy to use. This oven truly is a great appliance packed with technology and convince. It is easy to use and maintain. It is well designed and looks nice as well.

As always Samsung makes great looking appliances. I was very excited to put this oven to use as we were hosting a family dinner. The pros were the soft close door, the blue LED lights, and the ability for the oven to maintain two different temperatures (Flex Duo). The Flex Duo allowed me to roast a chicken and bake a pineapple upside down simultaneously. It saved me so much time and trouble by allowing me to bake two dishes at once. The only con I found was that I had trouble with wi-fi connectivity. For me, it wasn't a big deal at all, but an added plus that would come in handy. All in all I am very pleased with this appliance and would recommend it to others.

Excellent Quality and Features

I enjoy using the Wall Oven with all of its features. The WiFi keeps me connected when I am away. Temperature of the oven was outstanding. It was also cool from the outside as the oven was running. I used a Dutch Oven on numerous occasions and the meals came out great. When first learning the oven I had to adjust to the temperature because the previous oven was off. After a couple times it was so easy. When using the Gourmet feature I was able to follow the instructions on the display and the meals came out great. I am very impressed with with this oven!!!

I received my Samsung double wall oven just before Thanksgiving this year. You know how hard it is to juggle turkey, lasagne, stuffing,beans,yams, pies and everything else we prepare for our families on thanksgiving so we have a fabulous family dinner. It was always so hard to time everything so it would be ready and hot at the same time. Well this oven does it all. Two huge oven spaces, you can cook in one or both, each has a separate control panel so it's easy to figure out. It has so many bells and whistles that I'm looking forward to cooking and baking Christmas dinner. I never thought I would say that.

I saw a lot of the reviews, but I haven't had any issues described by others. The only issues I have found is that the WI-Fi connectivity currently only works with the older Smart Home App (Not SmartThings), but that should be changing in the near future. Other than that, the controls have worked great, the Flex Duo feature is fantastic (it's 3 ovens in one!). My only 2 suggestions are: 1. I wish I could get the clock to stay on for more than 1 hour. I know it's power saving, but it would be great if it could be 3 hours, or have a sensor so it knows when someone is in the kitchen. 2. The timer alarm is pretty quiet and there doesn't seem to be a way to make it louder.

3 uses and it's dead

Can't believe the oven is DEAD after the third use. Checked the breaker. All good. Had electrician check his work. All good. When I discovered it died. The upper door handle and knobs were so hot. I could barley touch them for hours. Several calls answer emails produced a service tech coming out after ten days. Tomorrow. I can't believe it died so quickly. What's worse. Is the support or lack there of for Samsung's appliances.
