Great when its not broken

I have had this dryer for about two years and Im on my 4th major repair. The drum has had to be replaced twice and Im waiting on another parts replacement right now possibly another drum. The first time the drum needed to be replaced it blew a three inch hole in the metal. Im hoping LG replaces this dryer I have to wait until this repair is complete.

I have been so frustrated since I bought this dryer. When I call for support I am told the vent is too long. That of course is without someone coming to check it out. I live in a one-story home. How could the vent be too long. When I set the dryer for heavy duty the clothes are still damp. Then I set it for damp dry but I guess a sensor says its done. Its not. Then I set the timer for about 20 minutes. It goes off in about 5 minutes again probably because of a sensor. So Ive been hanging my clothes on drying racks Ridiculous THEN I got a letter offering an extended warranty. Why would I take an extension when Im not getting help/service now?

Good dryer - LG Terrible Cust Service - great Tech

Bought this from Costco get an extra year warranty luckily as it was making a squealing noice that LG gave me a very hard time in sending out a tech - had to send videos even after hearing the squealing on the phone. Spent several hours over three days before agreeing to send a tech - he was great - took him an hour to figure it out - it was a loose gas connection bracket - metal on metal noise. The LG Customer Service is the reason for the average score. I would have given them a one but the dryer is fine.

We had an initial issue but the delivery guys seemed to fix that...about 1 year later the unit stopped producing heat all together. The biggest challenge was getting LG repair. Too much headache

Great machine with huge capacity

Coming from a 12 year old tiny stackable dryer this machine is a beast It is quicker quieter and much more efficient than my old dryer. I can also actually fit blankets and comforters with ease. I really like the dual motion of the door. With the ability to open it from the top when loading the machine then open from the side when emptying it. I didnt think this feature would be as helpful as it actually is. This machine comes packed with features that I havent even fully explored yet. I usually use the regular dry or timed dry with larger loads blankets/comforters. I really enjoy the connectivity of the machine too. Like getting alerts on my phone when the load is done and health reports on my machine ensuring its running properly.

Great Dryer

I really like this dryer. The door opens not only left to right but also it can pull down to a 45angle so clothes wont fall on floor when moving them from washer to dryer. I also noticed that the sheets dont bunch up into a tight ball when drying. The controls are very easy to use and understand. This dryer is fairly quiet and I like the chimes at the end of the cycle instead of a loud buzzer.

It dries the clothes

Ive had my LG DLG7301WE dryer for about 3 weeks and it definitely dries the clothes Its very quiet and Im a satisfied customer. I like the two-way door. I did my research on Consumer Reports and it appears most dryers dry clothes effectively with very little performance differences between products and Id agree with that sentiment. Thanks LG

Great Features

We bought this a few weeks ago. It dries the clothes well. I love having an end signal on the dryer and also on the app. I wish the app signal would repeat based on the users choice and that it was louder. Im going to try changing the setting in Android notifications. We received a sweepstakes entry for writing this review.

Things dont work right Poor warranty service.

1 Cannot connect to the dryer or washer with the LG Android app. Its not a signal strength issue since I can see the laundry machines on the network. They just dont connect. Web search shows others have had this problem and had to get new firmware. 2 Dryer stopped working service man found too much lint in the exhaust vent and explained that the overheating thermostat tripped.. But there were on error or warnings on the control panel like there are supposed to be. Additionally the thermostat that tripped was the safety overheating thermostat there is also a cycling thermostat which should have turned the heat off before the safety thermostat did but it failed to do so. 3 Now LG is saying this is my fault and are dragging their feet on further service. Its not my fault two of their features failed in order for this to happen. Drying settings not very flexible w/o the app. Tends to under-try clothing. Lint filter seems to not catch all the lint.

LG dryer works fabulously

I have had this dryer for approximately a month I had already purchased the Audi washer and when our dryer finally started going out we purchased the matching LG dryer love the dual door so you can drop down the front door or open it from the left side like the light inside they can be seen through the glass in the front door dryer has lots of options and is quiet

The Fins on the inside of the dryer

Faulty Design 6/28/2022

The fins on the inside of the dryer keep coming loose and are ripping my clothes. This started right before my warranty was up.The dry has to be taken apart each tome to fix this. This dry was not cheap and obviously is faulty. Apparently we arent the only one with this issue with this dryer. Unfortunately LG wants nothing to do with it and wont take responsibility for the faulty design.

Purchased after using my daughters. I have washed my king size down comforter with ease. It came out so clean. My husband is a woodworker so his clothes are always a challenge. Not anymore. I can bleach things without fear of the next load having bleach marks. And my washing spinning and temperature choices are wonderful.

This dryer does everything it says it can do. The large capacity enables you to dry even the largest of items including bedding and pillows. The clothes come out smelling clean and evenly dried.

We have had this a few weeks and works great many choices for drying we use the normal setting most of the time and clothes are nice and dry when cycle is complete Wi-Fi linked to my phone and notification to my phone when drying is complete.
