I have been waiting years for an induction stove, always liked the Frigidaire, and the got it for me as a retirement present.Learning to cook with it but so far it is great. Saves time, energy and is very safe for an older adult.I have had stainless steel cookware for over 40 years in addition to some antique cast iron all of which work beautifully on the induction burners.Convection baking is also a welcome feature. Looking to use it as I make breads and deserts.I recommend the back splash as it give it a finished look very inexpensively.My kitchen is small but works well with this new stoveAlso this stove has a feature to join burners and I'll be getting a stainless steel griddle fro when family is over for breakfast. Should be a treat.Well worth the investment.

We are really pleased with our new induction range! The cooktop works well - it is incredibly fast and responsive, easy to clean, the induction zones are a good size, and we think it looks good with the touch screen controls on the front instead of knobs. Also good that it is a convection (fan assist) oven. On the negative side - the oven takes a while to warm up (no slower than our previous Samsung gas range though), the induction makes a noticable humming noise especially when at full power, the touch buttons require a firm steady press, and we wish the stainless was finger print proof (not a huge issue). Overall, for the price this is a great induction range. We've been really happy with our Frigidaire Gallery fridge and so far this range is not disappointing. Finally, remember that you'll need a 240 volt outlet for this (or any) induction range. We only had a 110V for our existing gas range so needed to have an electrician run a new line.

Our new Fridgedaire Convection Oven/Induction Stove is a masterpiece of affordable appliances. Our original use began during the Thanksgiving holiday and we can't wait to extend it through Christmas where more baking of pies than turkeys will truly prove it's worth. We are Foodies and Bakers and are truly grateful that we have the privilege of owning this new Appliance. There is very little learning curve if you read the directions . The frontal display is pretty intuitive . Clean up is pretty easy . Cooking and baking is very efficient . Happily replaced a Samsung gas oven/stove. Trusting for its longevity with our warranty which we purchased at a local retailer. Best of luck and cooking to all!

The Good: the stove is instantly on and medium is actually warm enough to cook an egg ??. I like that the stove goes to 5 and you push it up or down from there. I was able to use my cast iron griddle to make breakfast tacos fast and easy. The convection oven heats quickly and cooks evenly. The bad: the lack of a numeric keypad means everything from setting the oven temperature to resetting the clock after a power failure takes a significant amount of time pushing ^ or down. Also, the convection setting doesn™™t brown my food as much as my last ovens did. I overcame that using broil for a couple of minutes though. Overall: still a 5 star for the excellent stove quality of the induction cooking and the ease of cleaning.

Great cost effective option with induction range

The design is simple, and there are nice built in features for things to be "child safe" on the front panel. Only real gripe is that one of the burners is no longer heating up quickly anymore, and this is a surprise for such a new appliance. On one it boils in less than 2 minutes, on the problem one, it takes close to 4 or 5.

The range performs well and is nice looking. We use a cooktop cover to help protect the surface when not in use. My wife was unsure about getting an induction range at first but is now sold on it. As we have solar panels to produce our electricity it was nice to replace the gas range with this one. I highly recommend an induction range, and this one from Frigidaire seems to be an ideal price.

Our nephew purchased an induction range a few years ago and really liked it, so when our old gas range gave out we purchase one. There is a learning curve but now we are really loving this way of cooking. It is faster than gas and more accurate. It is the environmentally friendly choice. We also liked the fact that this Frigidaire range is manufactured in the USA. We really need to find ways of providing more good, middle class jobs in our country.

The induction range is phenomenal. Response is instantaneous. Oven is quick to preheat and easy to clean. Only complaint is like others have said that sometimes you can activate the controls by leaning against the side of the range. Given that. Induction range with knobs instead of touch controls ins $1000 more than this one, I think this is a fair trade off.

The induction range top has been enjoyable. I love how quickly it heats up, the immediate reduction of heat (when burners are turned off), and does not burn spatters on the cook surface. It has been a learning curve on what temperature is needed as it tends to cook hotter than my previous range. Many of my previous pots and pans that I thought would be compatible where not. The outside edges of vessels doesn't seem to heat upas well as the centers.

I love this new range! It™™s sleek and stylish in my kitchen. I had never used induction before, but I absolutely love it. I especially love that it is so much safer to be around kids and pets. The fact that this has a convection oven was a bonus! Also, the oven doesn™™t have a heating element in the bottom of it so it™™s super easy to clean. The oven light automatically comes on every time you open the door which is super nice. I also really love the fact that you can combine two of the burners together if you™™re using a griddle. And there™™s also a great lock feature on it which prevents the oven from accidentally being turned on. Oh! I almost forgot, the drawer at the very bottom has so much more room than the previous range I used to have.

I love the induction technology and how it responds to temperature control like gas only more efficient! Operation is intuitive! I do not enjoy bumping the fro t controls and hearing a beep- perhaps back controls might be better. I am a bit concerned about the glass too and take extra care with it. The oven cooks very well and heats up nicely! The drawer is a bit flimsy given the price of the product

This stove is amazing. I love the profile, how easy it is to operate and clean, and that I got a few new pots to use with it. My only complaint and reason for four stars is the oven doesn't seem to get hot enough or cook in the same amount of time as a regular electric stove. It could be that it's a few days old and I have to break it in some more but what used to take 6 minutes to cook now takes about eight. It is such a little thing and I'm sure could be my pickiness. Still love the stove and won't go back to regular electric cooking.

The induction stove works well. It has the control of gas with the safety of electric. My only complaint is that it will not let us cook with all 4 of the cook top elements at once. You can cook on two just fine, but once turn on the 3rd, it shuts off.

Induction cooking is so fast. I love it. No more waiting for the cooktop to heat up then waiting for it to cool down. The control panel ™buttons™ has enough contrast with the black glass that they can be seen. Samsungs unit uses grey on black which isn™™t enough contrast. The touch panel seems to require placing a finger on the spot for a second for it to activate. It took some getting used to but once I figured that out, it™™s fine. I gave it 4 stars for two things. The cooktop is slightly recessed which could catch a spill but it creates a joint which is hard to keep clean. A smooth top over the entire surface would be easier to maintain. The second is the oven temperature seems to be off a bit. It tends to be cooler than what it™™s set for. Maybe 25 to 30 degrees. I™™m unsure if it could be calibrated. The stainless is not as finger-proof as my Samsung microwave but it™™s maintainable. Otherwise I™™m happy with the unit.

Induction cooking is truly revolutionary and we love our new Frigidaire! It is amazingly fast to heat up and cool to the touch all around the hot burner. As soon as you lower the temperature, it responds instantly! Equivalent to cooking with gas! So happy here!!

I am really impressed with the speed of cooking, and the easy clean up. Am having a learning curve with the touch screen controls, do wish they were knobs.

My first unit was delivered with a hairline crack about 8 inches long- it was just a hairline like on a cell phone but it made me worry about how careful I was going to have to be in using this appliance. Fortunately I will be the only one cooking with it as I do not have others in my household.

Induction Range and Convection Oven working perfectly

When our gas stove and oven went out, we knew immediately that we would replace it with and environmentally friendly Induction Range. The range works great and heats up quickly...the learning curve has been fairly simple. The price for this model was very reasonable. The Convection Oven is similar to the convection oven we had on our old gas oven.
